For those without a DVB-H enabled phone, DStv Mobile can be accessed using the Drifta mobile decoder that is compatible with cellphones, laptops, smartphones and tablets. Users can stay current with sports, news and entertainment, wherever they go.
DVB-H enabled phones are available from Mobile Network Operators. Drifta mobile decoders are available from MultiChoice branches.

DStv Mobile Subscription costs
Since the launch of the DStv Mobile broadcast service in Nigeria, the service has been offered at no subscription cost as part of the introductory phase. From the first week of June 2011, billing will commence in Nigeria on MTN, and a subscription fee will be applicable for the DStv Mobile package via a DVB-H enabled handset or Drifta. The Free Tier is free of charge. Glo subscribers will have the Free package available from the first week of June, and billing should commence soon after.

ABOUT DRIFTA
The Drifta is a mobile TV decoder that receives DVB-H signal and converts it into Wi-Fi signal for Wi-Fi enabled viewing devices: laptops, PCs, tablets and smartphones.
For the product to work it must be within DVB-H coverage.
Currently, the device is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and PCs including notebooks.
