Hold on tight, spider monkeys. We're gearing up for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. You chose the nominees, but now we need your help to pick this year's winners.
That's a big responsibility. Team Edward, Team Jacob, Team Potter: Rally your forces. There's a red carpet waiting to be filled with A-list celebs, and all it takes is a wave of your magical wand (or magical mouse, as the case may be).
So who will take home the coveted Golden Popcorn (the only popcorn tub that comes loaded with swagger and no saturated fats)? Yes, it's up to you. You may not be able to get your hands on a swanky celebrity gift bag but you can put those fingers to work like you were Lady Gaga on the piano. Beginning May 3, vote to help decide which of your favorite movies will go down in Movie Awards history and win the Golden Popcorn. And remember, the MTV Movie Awards maintains only the highest standards. This is the awards show that broke the F-bomb barrier eons ago and features a never-ending parade of celebrity spit-swapping. Just last year there were smooches between RPattz and KStew, Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson, and Russell Brand and Jonah Hill. There was even some sort of bromance going on with Aziz Ansari and Justin Bieber.
Who will bring the drama this year? Which couple will win Best Kiss? Should Natalie Portman's "Black Swan" win for Best Villain or Best Scared-As-S**t Performance? .
Don't forget to tune in Live to the 2011 MTV Movie Awards to see all of the winners on June 5 on MTV European (DStv 321) and then the following day on MTV Base (HiTV 14/DStv 322). If it's anything like last year, J. Lo and Les Grossman will be working their moves; Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg will be hanging from the ceiling; and Xtina will be getting freaky.
