HiTV launches Star Gold to replace Zee Cinema.

HiTV begins 2011 on a bright note with the launch of STAR Gold Indian Movie Channel. Billed to kick off on Monday 10th January, STAR Gold will replace Zee Cinema. Though the latter has over the years gained huge followership, they are not in doubt that STAR Gold will do even better. STAR Gold is from the stables of STAR India, a leading media and entertainment company which is available in over 65 countries across the globe.

Movies spanning various genres such as comedy, drama and romance will be shown on the channel. This month’s offerings already hold a lot of promise and i can’t wait….

    I sincerely hope they have english subtitles,If not an ardent viewer has been lost.
    Otherwise bring my Zee Cinema back!!!

    Hi,Star Gold as the largest collection of Indian movies and it's rated number one amongst all other India channels of it's kind.Over 95% of the movies on that channel are subtitled.
