DStv Mobile - The new 'watch wherever you are 'broadcast
television service can be accessed by a number of DVB-H enabled cellphones - is set to change the way viewers catch their favourite DStv shows.

DVB-H enabled phones are available from Mobile Network Operators.

There will be four bouquets to choose from:

Since the launch of the DStv Mobile broadcast service in Ghana, the service has bee offered at no subscription cost as part of the introductory phase.  From the first week of June 2011, billing will commence in Ghana only on MTN, and a subscription fee will be applicable for the DStv Mobile package via a DVB-H enabled handset.  The Free Tier is free of charge.  Billing on Airtel will commence soon.

For those without a DVB-H enabled phone, DStv Mobile can be accessed using the Drifta mobile decoder that is compatible with cellphones, laptops, smartphones and tablets.  Users can stay current with sports, news and entertainment, wherever they go.

DVB-H enabled phones are available from Mobile Network Operators.  Drifta mobile decoders are available from MultiChoice branches.

The Drifta retails at NGN 14 700.00 and is available at MultiChoice branches from 7th June.

ABOUT DRIFTA
The Drifta is a mobile TV decoder that receives DVB-H signal and converts it into Wi-Fi signal for Wi-Fi enabled viewing devices:  laptops, PCs, tablets and smartphones.

For the product to work it must be within DVB-H coverage.

Currently, the device is compatible with the iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad and PCs including notebooks.
